MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin’s presidential recount is over, and President-elect Donald Trump has been certified the winner.
State election officials announced Monday that Trump won the state by more than 22,000 votes over Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Trump’s lead grew by more than 100 votes from the original count on Election Day.
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein requested recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, suggesting that polling places in all three states had issues with hacking and other problems.
But the courts shut down Stein’s efforts for recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Members of the Electoral College will meet in their respective state capitals on Monday to officially cast their votes.
