NEW YORK — When “Saturday Night Live” poked fun at the president-elect’s penchant for tweeting, he wasted no time responding on Twitter.

Alec Baldwin plays Donald Trump, alongside Kate McKinnon, who plays Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway.

“There’s a reason he tweets all the time,” McKinnon’s Conway explains. “He does it to distract the media from his business conflicts and all of the very scary people in his cabinet.”

“Actually that’s not why I do it,” Baldwin’s Trump replies. “I do it because my brain is bad.”

The skit went on to portray strategist Steve Bannon as the Grim Reaper.

Trump responded on Twitter just minutes after the skit was broadcast.
