Fire burns antiques store in northwest Denver

DENVER — Crews responded to a fire at an antiques store in northwest Denver on Tuesday morning, the Denver Fire Department said.

Six engines and two trucks responded to the fire at the Green Door Furniture Store at 3985 N. Tennyson St. in the Berkeley neighborhood after 9 a.m.

Flames were seen shooting out the window of the store.

Crews were in a defensive fire operation with no firefighters in the building, Denver Fire said.

The building was evacuated and no injuries were reported.

The extent of the damage is not known.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
