Police search for suspect in Wheat Ridge bank robbery

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Police are searching for a man they said robbed a bank Monday.

Police said it happened at the First Bank, near West 32nd Avenue and Youngfield Street about 3:40 p.m., the Wheat Ridge Police Department said.

Police said the suspect did not show or mention a weapon.

Police said the suspect fled to a vehicle on the south side of the bank then went north on Youngfield. His last known location was Younfield just south of West 44th Avenue.

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, white shirt and black pants. He also had a backpack and was wearing a Broncos hat, police said.
