Turkey Trot at Washington Park in Denver

DENVER — It was a breezy start to the 43rd annual Turkey Trot in Washington Park Thursday morning. But the sun came out and it was a great day for a workout at the park.

Organizers expected more than 20,000 people to participate in the 4-mile run, walk and community Thanksgiving day celebration.

FOX31 and Colorado’s Own Channel 2 were proud to sponsor this year’s Turkey Trot.

Anchors Jeremy Hubbard and Aristea Brady were emcees.

All of the money raised goes to the Mile High United Way.
