One person seriously injured, one in custody after hit-and-run crash on I-70

DENVER — One person was in custody after a hit-and-run crash on eastbound I-70 near Havana sent one person to the hospital.

The rollover collision shutdown the eastbound side of the highway Thursday evening. Traffic was backed up for a long time during the investigation.

Denver police said the person who went to the hospital had serious injuries.

That was all of the information they released Thursday night.
