Man killed in shooting at Aurora hotel

AURORA, Colo. — A man was killed in a shooting at a hotel in Aurora early Thursday morning, according to police.

Police say the report of the shooting came in around 2:30 a.m. at the Travelodge hotel located at 14200 East 6th Ave.

When police arrived on scene, a man was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died, officials said.

The name of the victim has not been released.
