Kanye West leaves show after playing 3 shows, showing up late

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Rapper Kanye West stormed off stage Saturday after showing up more than an hour late and only playing three songs.

Fans said West went on a 20-minute rant, calling out Beyonce and Jay-Z, and throwing Taylor Swift’s name in there, too.

“Beyonce, I was hurt ’cause I heard you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over Hotline Bling,” West told the crowd at the Golden 1 Center.

“[Beyonce] is great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people. But sometimes we’re playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are. Just to win. F*** winning. F*** looking cool.”

“Jay-Z, just call me. Talk to me like a man,” West said.

Warning: Some of the videos contain strong language.

Before leaving the stage, West warned the media to be ready to have a “field day.”

“Right now, press, get ready to write your passive-aggressive, LeBron James racist comments, season four racist comments. Get ready to have a field day, press, get ready, get ready, ’cause the show’s over!” West said.

Fans were stunned.

After West left the stage, the confused crowd began chanting, “(F***) you, Kanye.”

Soon after the incident, the hashtag #KayneIsOverParty started trending.

The concert venue issued only a brief statement on Twitter on Saturday night, saying “We encourage all guests to travel home safely. More information to follow.”
