DENVER — The last two regular-season games for the University of Colorado’s football team will air on FOX31, the Pac-12 Conference announced Monday.
The Buffaloes, one of the biggest surprises in the country after not having a winning season since 2005, are in prime position to win the Pac-12 South Division and reach the conference championship game for the first time.
CU is ranked No. 12 in this week’s Associated Press and the coaches’ polls.
The Buffaloes (6-1 Pac-12, 8-2 overall) will play North Division leader No. 20 Washington State (7-0, 8-2) at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Folsom Field. The game will air on FOX31.
CU leads the South Division by one-half game over No. 15 USC (6-2, 7-3) and one game over No. 11 Utah (5-2, 8-2). USC, which holds the tiebreaker over CU, plays at UCLA (2-5, 4-6) on Saturday, while Utah plays host to Oregon (1-6, 3-7).
If CU wins Saturday, its Nov. 26 game against Utah at Folsom Field likely will determine the South title. On Monday, it was announced the CU-Utah game will be played at 5:30 p.m. and air on FOX31.
If CU reaches the Pac-12 title game, it will be played at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 and also air on FOX31.
