Buster the Boxer watches foxes, badger, squirrel, hedgehog bounce on trampoline in holiday ad

This holiday ad is a dream come true for anyone who loves to get caught up in the magic of Christmas.

The John Lewis Christmas ad features Buster the Boxer, but unlike the British department store’s ads from previous years, this one isn’t such a tear-jerker.

“This is the story of a little girl called Bridget who loves to bounce. When her mum and dad buy her a trampoline for Christmas, they soon discover that she isn’t the only one with a passion for jumping,” the company explains.

Buster is forced to watch from inside the house as two foxes, a badger, a squirrel and a hedgehog bounce on the brand new trampoline, while Bridget sleeps and her parents cuddle on the couch, unaware.

When Bridget wakes up on Christmas morning, Buster finally gets his chance and the magic continues.

Not only will this commercial make you smile, and maybe even laugh out loud, it’s for a good cause. John Lewis is raising money for The Wildlife Trusts.

“The Wildlife Trusts will get 10 percent of sales of cuddly toy versions of the animals seen in the ad, which are already on sale in stores and online,” the company said.

“The department store brand was keen to point out that no animals were made to jump during filming, instead relying on CGI,” Marketing Week said in the most British way possible.

It turns out Buster isn’t the only boxer who likes to bounce. Funny Google Life posted a video of a boxer bouncing along with Buster as the ad plays on TV.
