Police investigate early-morning shooting on Boulder Turnpike

SUPERIOR, Colo. -- Police are investigating a shooting that happened on the Boulder Turnpike just before 6 a.m. Friday, officials said.

Police said a driver in an early 2000’s Chevrolet truck driving on the highway had his driver’s side window shot at from another vehicle between the Flatirons Crossing and McCaslin Boulevard exits.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older white Toyota or Honda sedan.

The sole occupant of the truck was not injured. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
