2 stabbed at Westminster house party

WESTMINSTER, Colo. —  Two people were stabbed at a house party early Saturday morning, the Westminster Police Department said.

Police responded to the 7800 block of Wolff Street about 3:50 a.m. on reports of shots fired.

Police said they tried to stop a vehicle that was leaving the area. The vehicle didn’t stop and officers pursued it to North Suburban Medical Center.

Inside the vehicle was a victim who had been stabbed during the large party, police said. Officers were told of a second assault victim who was taken to another hospital.

As of Saturday morning, both victims were considered in stable conditions.

Detectives are investigating and haven’t found any evidence that a shooting occurred. They are also working to determine a suspect description.
