Is it too late to change your mail-in ballot vote in Colorado?

DENVER — Are you having second thoughts about your vote and wondering if you can change it before Election Day?

The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office said it depends on if you have turned in your ballot or not.

Once a clerk has received a ballot, a voter has voted and it cannot be changed, the Secretary of State’s Office said.

However, if someone has marked their ballot and hasn’t submitted it yet, they can dispose of the marked ballot and request a new one, officials said.

Officials said if you haven’t turned in your filled in ballot, you also have the option of voting in person at a voting center.
