DENVER — The mugshots of the two suspects who have been arrested in connection with burglarizing Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware’s Cherry Creek home were released Thursday by the Denver Police Department.

Ware returned home from the Broncos’ “Monday Night Football” win over the Houston Texans to find he had been robbed. Among the items that were stolen was Ware’s Super Bowl 50 championship ring.

Surveillance cameras caught the men and photos sent out by Metro Denver Crime Stoppers helped track them down on Wednesday.

Police arrested Billy McCaslin, 40, and Sergio Irreza, 31, in Commerce City. Police said McCaslin has six previous arrests — two for trespassing and child abuse — and Irreza has been arrested twice on misdemeanor charges, including assault.

The items stolen, including the Super Bowl 50 ring, were recovered.

“I’m just glad I wasn’t in there when he was in there,” Ware said before the arrests were made. “I would’ve sacked him. I really would’ve did that — the both of them.”

Ware extended his thanks to police on Twitter while also tweeting, “Don’t mess with Broncos Country.”

Police have not said what charges McCaslin and Irreza are facing.
