AURORA, Colo. — A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in an intersection on Wednesday morning, the Aurora Police Department said.

The collision happened in the intersection of East Quincy Avenue and South Memphis Street just before 7 a.m.

The name, age and gender of the victim were not released. Police did not say what, if any, injuries the bicyclist suffered.

Police did not say the collision was a hit-and-run. The name, age and gender of the driver were not released.

The cause of the collision is under investigation. It’s not known if the driver will be cited because of the collision.
