One person shot outside southeast Denver convenience store

DENVER — One person was shot outside a convenience store late Monday night, the Denver Police Department said.

The shooting happened about 10:15 p.m. in the 10800 block of East Dartmouth Avenue, in the Fairways Centers strip mall.

The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.  Police have not said what the motive was for the shooting.

Police are looking for a suspect who was only described as a black man in his 20s who was seen wearing a black hoodie and light-colored pants.
