One killed in Aurora shooting

AURORA, Colo. --  A man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon, the Aurora Police Department said.

Officers responded to a call in the 3100 block of 3195 Uvalda Street just after 3:30 p.m.

Police found a Hispanic man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives and investigators from the major crimes/homicide unit and crime scene investigations unit have taken over the investigation.
