LONDON — A seemingly “racist” man punched another man in the face on a train in London on Monday afternoon. But he didn’t get away with it.
The whole thing was caught on video and posted to Twitter by Miqdaad Versi, assistant secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, according to Metro.
In the suspected racist attack, the man approaches the victim, who was minding his own business, and then punches him in the face.
A woman sitting next to the victim got up and chased the attacker down the platform at the Upton Park station in London, Metro reports.
The woman doesn’t give up as she chases him full speed and disappears into the distance.
Metro reports it has caught a 33-year-old man who they believe is guilty for the attack.
“A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning ABH and using threatening/abusive words/behavior or disorderly behavior likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He has been bailed until Nov. 14,” a British Transport Police spokesman said.
