DENVER — A Denver police officer is accused of aiming his service weapon at two other officers while on duty at Denver police headquarters, the Denver District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday.
Anselmo (Sal) Jaramillo, 46, is charged with two counts of prohibited use of weapons, the district attorney’s office said.
“Jaramillo was on-duty at 1331 Cherokee Street when he placed his loaded handgun on a desk and maneuvered it so that it was aimed at two other officers,” the district attorney’s office said in a statement.
The incident allegedly happened Sept. 18. Jaramillo was cited by summons.
He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Nov. 9.
