WASHINGTON — Salewa North America is recalling several models of the Khion Ski Boots because of a fall hazard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the ski boots can inadvertently switch from the “ski” to “walk” mode.

This change can cause the upper cuffs to separate and the carbon boot shell may crack, posing a fall hazard.

This recall involves three models of the Dynafit Khion Ski Boots. The recalled boots were sold between October 2015 and June 2016.

If you own the boots, contact Dynafit for a full refund or a free replacement.
