Target hiring 2,000 seasonal workers in Colorado

DENVER — Target plans to hire approximately 2,000 seasonal workers in Colorado.

The retailer is holding hiring events at all its stores on Friday and Saturday. The event is scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. each day.

“Store leaders will conduct pre-scheduled interviews with applicants and discuss Target’s dynamic, team-oriented culture,” company officials said in a statement. “Candidates who attend the hiring events may have the opportunity to interview on the spot.”

Interested candidates can apply in advance at or in-store. Candidates can apply on the day of the event.

Employees get a 10 percent discount on Target purchases.

Company-wide, Target plans to hire more than 70,000 employees across its stores, and 7,500 team members for its distribution and fulfillment facilities for the holidays, officials said.
