Man robbed after withdrawing $80,000 from KeyBank in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — A man was robbed outside a bank in Aurora after he withdrew $80,000, the Aurora Police Department said.

It happened about 10:30 a.m. Sept. 28 outside the KeyBank at 10502 E. Arizona Place, near South Havana Street and East Mississippi Avenue, police said.

The victim worked at check-cashing business D’Hispanos and withdrew the money for the company, investigators said.

As he left the bank, two men knocked him to the ground, beat him up and took the cash, police said. The suspect left in what appeared to be a white Lincoln LX with no license plate .
