Roller skating suspect steals Red Rock bench

LITTLETON, Colo. — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a man who stole a Red Rocks bench off of the porch of a home in Columbine Hills last week.

According to video surveillance, the male suspect, who is described as having a slim build and being in his late 20s with short dark hair, was last seen wearing a white hoodie, black coat, black pants, black shoes and white roller skates. He was seen driving a dark, 4-door sedan.

Surveillance cameras showed the man first approaching the house while wearing roller skates, setting off the motion lights, and then removing his skates to put on shoes before stealing the wooden bench, which has “Seats 149 & 150” on it.

The theft occurred at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 4, at a house near South Newland and West Canyon streets in Littleton.
