Overnight stabbing leaves 3 victims in hospital

THORNTON, Colo. — Police responded to reports of a disturbance in Thornton early Saturday morning, according to officials.

It happened at the Reserve Apartments on 9700 Welby Road.

When officers arrived on the scene they found three victims suffering from stab wounds.

They were all taken to the hospital and are listed in stable condition.

The suspect in the stabbing fled the scene before police arrived.

He was tracked down on the 9600 block of Steele Street.

The suspect ditched the car and ran off on foot. Police caught the man after a short chase.

The 20 year-old man was taken to the hospital for stab wounds.

Police are still sorting out who was involved and haven’t released any further information.

They do believe that the man in custody is the main suspect.
