NEW YORK -- Police arrested a man Friday who allegedly reached into the bra of a 93-year-old woman in a wheelchair and stole her envelope of cash.
Broyoan Lopez, 26, has been charged with two counts of robbery, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
Lopez allegedly stole from Maria Vasquez when she was with her attendant at Regines Originals clothing store around noon Thursday.
Vasquez was looking at the wall of clothes when Lopez allegedly walked up behind her, reached into her cleavage and took a white envelope with an unspecified amount of cash, according to police.
The attendant turned around when the woman yelled a moment later and searched for the envelope. Lopez had already fled the store.
It's not clear if Vasquez's money was recovered.
