Guide to free Dierks Bentley, OneRepublic concert in Civic Center Park

DENVER -- Multiplatinum entertainers Dierks Bentley and OneRepublic will perform live at Civic Center Park on Thursday for 2016 NFL Kickoff. The concert will begin about 4:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Fans do not need tickets to attend.

Gates open at 3 p.m. Guests can enter from Broadway or West Colfax Avenue. ADA access is located at West Colfax Avenue and Bannock Street.

Access to the general public viewing areas is first come, first served.

Fans can register for the opportunity to receive a unique, near-stage fan experience for the concert.

Fans can also win prizes by activating the Fan Mobile Pass and checking in at attractions at Civic Center Park. Fans could win Super Bowl LI game tickets, an autographed football and more.

To ensure public safety and security, the following items are prohibited: Weapons, alcohol, food, beverages, all cans and bottles, fireworks, all chairs, tents of any kind, barbecue grills of any kind, umbrellas, blankets of any kind, flag poles, drones, noisemakers, video recorders, cameras with lens over 12 inches, obstructive signs, bags larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, and animals other than service animals.

All attendees are subject to search, and prohibited items cannot be abandoned at security checkpoints.

The concert and pregame show lead into the season opener between the Carolina Panthers and the Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High at 6:30 p.m.

The game will not be broadcast from the concert site at the conclusion of the event.

Fans are encouraged to use public transportation, and should arrive early to enjoy activities and avoid any traffic or parking delays.
