ORLANDO, Fla. — A Florida State University football player who ate lunch with a child who was sitting alone did something extra special for his young friend.
Florida State receiver Travis Rudolph was visiting Montford Middle School with some teammates when he came upon Bo Paske, 11, sitting in the cafeteria by himself. He sat down next to him, and Bo’s mother posted a photo of the two of them on Facebook.
On Monday, just a few days after Rudolph’s touching act went viral, Bo got another surprise when Rudolph presented him with a personalized Florida State jersey.
The two new friends shared some laughs and hugs.
Bo was also on the sideline as Florida State staged an incredible come-from-behind win over Mississippi on Monday night.
Florida State was losing, 28-6, with just seconds remaining before halftime, then completed a momentum-changing touchdown pass — to Rudolph.
