DENVER, Colo. — A man wearing a jetpack (yes, an actual jetpack) flew off the roof of The ViewHouse in LoDo Friday evening.

Nick Macomber with Apollo Jetpacks performed the stunt to help kick off the 2016 Colorado Extreme Sports Film Competition.

“I’m almost hitting 400 flights,” Macomber said.

A couple hundred people watched as Macomber flew from the roof of The ViewHouse, flew around the group, and then landed safely near a stage.

The jetpack can only stay up in operation for about 30 seconds.

Still, it’s pretty rad, according to Macomber.

“It’s like what every kid in the world dreamed of,” he said.

Macomber and Apollo Jetpacks are based in Denver.
