DENVER -- “Hello from the outside”… of the Pepsi Center. That is where you’ll be sitting unless you have $500 to spare to see Adele perform live.

Adele’s shows on Saturday and Sunday rank as the top two most expensive resale tickets ever in Denver, according to national ticket resale site SeatGeek, which started tracking the secondary market in 2010.

“She certainly is the hottest tour of the summer city in, city out,” SeatGeek content analyst Chris Leyden said.

SeatGeek says the top five resale ticket events since 2010 in Denver are:

  • Adele (July 16, 2016): $579
  • Adele (July 17, 2016): $533
  • AFC Championship Game, Patriots at Broncos (Jan. 19, 2014): $531
  • Packers at Broncos (Nov. 1, 2015): $525
  • AFC Championship Game, Patriots at Broncos (Jan. 24, 2016): $500

“To even say that they’re in the same conversation shows the excitement to see Adele in Denver,” Leyden said. “The good news for people that maybe procrastinated a little bit and didn’t buy yet is that prices have gone down.”

Ticket brokers say there is a chance to get good value last minute, as the average resale price has dropped over the past month.

But even if the prices do drop a bit, it will be two of the top five most expensive events in Denver when it’s all said and done.
