Missing 31-year-old man found safe at relative’s home

WESTMINSTER, Colo. — The Westminster Police Department said a 31-year-old man who went missing Sunday night has been found safe.

Scott Buster, who is developmentally disabled but can speak and communicate normally, was last seen at home in the 8300 block of North Sheridan Boulevard at the Sunset Ridge Apartments, police said.

He went outside to smoke about 9:30 p.m. and had not been seen since.

Buster works in the 3600 block of South Independence Street in Denver and might have left on foot or used his RTD bus pass, police said.

On Monday morning, police said Buster was found safely at a relative’s home in Arvada.
