EVANSTON, Ill. — The house featured in the 1984 John Hughes classic “Sixteen Candles,” located in Evanston, Illinois is for sale. It’s on the market for just less than $1.5 million.

With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, the large home has been renovated extensively in the decades since the movie debuted. New additions include a backyard fireplace and outdoor kitchen.

But fans can still lay their head in the same bedroom as Sam Baker and find plenty of space for their grandparents when they come to visit.

Or they can just stand on the front steps and wait for Jake Ryan to pull up in his Porsche. It may be closer to “50 Candles” at this point, but some romances never end.
