Car owner stabbed in attempted theft in Jefferson County

LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- A car owner was attempted during an attempted theft Saturday night, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.

It happened intersection of South Newcomb Way and Morrison Road. The sheriff's office said it caught the suspect after he climbed a tree to escape.
