SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. — An Arizona woman received a special gift for her 100th birthday: A great-great grandson, KPNX reports.

Weston Alexander Heiser was born Monday, exactly 100 years to the day his great-great grandmother Dorothy Martell was born. Martell went to the hospital Tuesday to meet the newborn.

“She lost her fourth son, and she had two other deaths in her family at her age, obviously,” said Alyssa Heiser, Weston’s mother and Martell’s great-granddaughter. “So she was so happy to meet this little guy and celebrate life.”

Heiser of Peoria, Ariz., said Martell has touched so many lives in her life.

“She is one of the most inspirational people in my life,” Heiser told KPNX. “There’s something so special about her that everyone who meets her can feel.

“She’s so full of joy and life and has such a strong faith. She’s just the most wonderful lady that I’ve ever met.”
