DENVER -- Two suspects were arrested after multiple vehicles were vandalized and a short foot chase early Friday morning, the Denver Police Department said.

The incident began in a parking lot outside a club at 34th and Walnut streets where police said as many as 30 vehicles were vandalized.

Police said they spotted a vehicle about 12 miles away they believed was connected to the vandalism. After a short chase, the driver lost control and crashed into a vehicle in front of a home near East 53rd Avenue and Durham Court.

The suspects took off on foot but were found a short time later a nearby park, where they were taken into custody.

Police have not released the names, ages and genders of the suspects, but one of them is believed to be a juvenile.

No injuries were reported.
