Telluride Bluegrass Festival

This June, music lovers from around the globe will come together at the world-renowned bluegrass festival in Telluride for four days of toe-tapping, carefree-dancing and music-loving fun. This year’s performers include John Butler Trio, Telluride House Band, Trampled by Turbles, Kacey Musgraves and Yonder Mountain String Band, just to name a few.

Manitou Springs Colorado Wine Festival

Greeley Stampede

Dust off your cowboy boots for one of Colorado’s largest summer festivals and rodeos. Dating back to the 1800s, Greeley’s Fourth of July celebration puts the “Yeehaw!” in Colorado’s western culture. Lady Antebellum, Chris Young and Thomas Rhett  will headline this year’s Stampede.

 

Cheyenne Frontier Days

The Daddy of ’em All has been kicking up dust since 1897 with the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and Western Celebration.

More than 100 years later, Cheyenne Frontier Days is a 10-day festival of rip-roarin’ excitement, featuring the world’s best PRCA rodeo action and Western entertainment. It’s non-stop activity and hospitality at its Western best! –

 

Hot Air Balloon Rodeo

July 9–10, 2016
One of Colorado’s largest hot air balloon festival is a sight to see in Steamboat Springs. With a massive colorful ascension scheduled for each morning, “rodeo” moves like dipping into Bald Eagle Lake and Saturday night’s balloon glow, a bonus feature is the event’s combination with the annual Art in the Park.

 

Crested Butte Wildflower Festival

 

July 11–17, 2016
As the official Wildflower Capital of Colorado, Crested Butte is the obvious place to host this event, packed with guided wildflower hikes, 4×4 tours, photography classes, gardening instruction and much more.

 

National Parks Free Entrance Days

August 25–28, 2016
Colorado’s National Parks celebrate the parks service’s 100th birthday with free entrance and fun happenings as summer draws to a close, including Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Colorado National Monument, Dinosaur National Monument, Florrisant Fossil Beds, Great Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde and Rocky Mountain.
