8 injured during bounce castle incident at Henderson Elementary

HENDERSON, Colo. — Eight people suffered minor injuries after an incident involving a bounce castle Friday afternoon.

It happened at Henderson Elementary School at 12301 E. 124th Ave. on an inflatable bounce castle set up for field day when it collapsed.

Brighton Fire Rescue was already on the scene for field day activities and it recommended calling in paramedics.

All of the injuries were minor and no one was transported to the hospital, Brighton Fire spokeswoman Natalie Ridderbos said.

Parents were notified of the incident.

The cause of the collapse has not yet been determined.
