Speer Boulevard reopened after police investigate report of suspicious device

Denver Police closed Speer for a suspicious device.

DENVER — Southbound Speer Boulevard was closed from Logan Street to West Third Avenue because of a report of a vehicle with a suspicious device, the Denver Police Department said.

Police made a traffic stop on Speer Boulevard near Logan and are checking out the device as a precaution.

Speer was reopened around 6:15 p.m. No robots were brought in, according to reporters on scene.
