Police search for vehicles connected with fire, death above Denver deli

DENVER -- Police are trying to locate two vehicle still missing after a person was found dead inside a burning Denver apartment early Monday morning.

Police have described the fire at Rosenberg's Bagel and Deli in the Five Points neighborhood near East 26th Avenue and Welton Street as suspicioius, but they have yet to say how the victim died.

Police are looking for a 1997 Subaru Outback with Colorado license plate 859-ZID and a 2012 Ducati high-end motorcycle with Colorado license plate QTO-128.

The fire broke out about 2:30 a.m. Monday. Once the smoke cleared, the victim's body was discovered in a closet in the apartment above the deli. Denver homicide detectives have been part of the ongoing investigation.
