Denver launches ‘Be A Smart Ash’ campaign to combat emerald ash borer

DENVER -- Hundreds of thousands of trees in Denver could face devastation from a bug that has already destroyed millions of trees in 25 other states.

The emerald ash borer has already shown up in Boulder and it's expected in Denver any time now.

The city wants everyone to be aware how to protect their ash trees. Denver has a new information campaign, "Be A Smart Ash," that makes it easy to find all of the facts you need about the emerald ash borer and the threat it presents.
