Teenager injured after being hit by vehicle near Denver school

DENVER -- A teenager was hit by a vehicle on Monday morning, the Denver Police Department said.

The incident happened near South Irving Street and West Custer Place, not far from Munroe Elementary School.

The teenager was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. The teenager has not been identified.

Police are investigating what led to the incident.
