Air Force staff sergeant arrested, accused of four sexual assaults on Front Range

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — An Air Force staff sergeant from Peterson Air Force Base has been arrested for an alleged sexual assault in Aurora earlier this year and three alleged sexual assaults in Colorado Springs in 2015.

Desmond Alvis Martin, 29, of Colorado Springs, has been in jail since Feb. 15.

“He is also being investigated for additional sexual assaults in Colorado Springs and Denver,” the Colorado Springs Police Department said in a statement Tuesday night.

Colorado Springs, Denver and Aurora police, along with the FBI and Air Force authorities, are actively pursuing additional leads regarding the cases involving Martin.
