CHEYENNE, Wyo. -–   A bank robbery in Wyoming could have a Colorado connection after the FBI said Monday the suspect might have gotten away in a vehicle with Colorado license plates.

The vehicle is a light blue/teal and white 1970s model Volkswagen camper bus. A tire and a flower or patterned design are on the vehicle.

About 11:20 a.m. Feb. 29, a man wearing a light blue surgical mask and heavy jacket robbed a Warren Federal Credit Union in Cheyenne at gunpoint and got away with cash. It is believed the man later escaped the area in the VW bus.

Special agents describe the man as white or light-skinned black male, about 6-foot and weighing 185 pounds. In addition to the mask, he was also wearing a heavy-knit cap and latex gloves.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information is asked to call the FBI at 307-632-6224.
