Here are five things he said:
What does the team think of facing Pittsburgh?
“We obviously worked really hard to get to where we’re at and we know we have a big test this wee. k… This time of year, if you’re going to win, you’re going to have to play great regardless of who you play. We understand that.”
Will the team prepare for Ben Roethlisberger to play?
“We’re preparing for their team. I think they were what, second or third in offense? They’re very good. You’ve got a lot of great players. We’re preparing for the group. We expect everybody to be there, but we’re preparing to play the Steelers.”
Does it help that the Broncos played the Steelers recently?
“Anytime you prepare for somebody in this league, you’re very thorough in all phases. We’ve each played two or three games since then, so you take that information, you get some new information over the course of the last few weeks and get ready to play.”
Can penalties from the Steelers-Bengals game be used to teach?
“Every Saturday morning I show our guys things that have happened around the league, things that have been really good, real smart football, and things that maybe happen around the league that you can’t have. We’re always talking about those things. Penalties here or there, one play here or there is the difference in playing another week and not playing at all this time of year.
What did the team get out of practices in the bye week?
“We did a lot of individual work, really. We got back on our team stuff today and got going on Steelers. We did a lot of individual work, a lot of conditioning-type stuff, a lot of throwing and catching. It’s been good.”AlertMe
