Seven winners from Colorado score lottery prizes

Another Powerball drawing failed to produce a winner on Saturday after reaching a staggering $900 million jackpot earlier in the day -- by far the largest ever. Now lottery officials estimate the jackpot is already at $1.3 billion ahead of the next drawing on Wednesday night.

DENVER — While nobody in the U.S. won the Powerball jackpot Saturday night, seven people from Colorado were able to still score big.

The Colorado Lottery said one person from Thornton won a jackpot of $2.7 million, sold at a 7-Eleven on Colorado Boulevard in a non-Powerball lottery.

There were six big Powerball winners in Colorado, with tickets sold from the following locations:

 Valero Corner Store, Summit Boulevard, Frisco: $50,000

King Soopers, West Uintah, Colorado Springs: $50,000

My Goods Market, Chambers Avenue, Denver: $150,000

A-B Petroleum, Alameda Avenue, Denver: $150,000

Diamond Shamrock, Huron Street, Northglenn: $150,000

7-Eleven, South College Avenue, Fort Collins: $150,000

The winning numbers were 16-19-32-34-57 and the Powerball number 13.The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday night at 8:59 p.m. with a record-breaking estimated $1.3 billion jackpot, as of Sunday.
