Denver Police: No gun was found, lockout lifted for DSST

DENVER — Denver Police were called to Denver School of Technology and Science on Thursday morning on report of possible person with a gun nearby.

The Stapleton school, located at 2000 Valentia Street, was placed on lockdown then was moved to lockout status while police investigated the report.

Denver Police reported that all students were safe.

Just before 11:30 a.m. Denver Police reported that the scene at the school was clear and no gun was found.    Denver Public Schools also reported the lockout had been lifted.

No shots were fired during the incident, police said. All students were reported safe.
