Student in custody after threat at Evergreen High School

EVERGREEN, Colo. — A student is in custody after a threat that Evergreen High School that prompted a lockdown.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating a 16-year-old boy who made threats.

While the lockout has been lifted, JeffCo Public Schools says Evergreen will be in lockout status while police investigate.

No weapons were found, according to the sheriff’s office.
