Denver Broncos TE Vernon Davis

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The newest Denver Broncos player was very excited to be a part of the team Wednesday. Tight end Vernon Davis now gets to catch passes from future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.

He also came from San Francisco to a team that’s looking to go to 8-0 on Sunday in Indianapolis.

Davis will be in uniform and the plan is to work him into some of the game plan as soon as Sunday.

He’s already hard at work at team headquarters. He needs to get up to speed within just a couple of days.

Davis said he’s thankful for the opportunity to play for the Broncos.
