Two Denver 7-Eleven stores robbed within 15 minutes

DENVER -- Two 7-Eleven stores were robbed within a 15-minute span early Tuesday morning.

Two suspects wearing surgical masks robbed the 7-Eleven at West Alameda Avenue and South Bannock Street about 1:40 a.m., the Denver Police Department said.

About 15 minutes later, the suspects robbed the 7-Eleven at East Sixth Avenue and Josephine Street.

Police said the suspects entered the second store through the front door, then shot out a window after the doors were locked.

One of the suspects was wearing a gray hoodie and the other was wearing a black sweatshirt. Both are described as black with with average builds and heights.

No injuries were reported.
