Motorcyclist killed after crashing into car

DENVER — A man was killed early Monday morning after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car, the Denver Police Department said.

Police said the motorcycle was traveling northbound on South Sheridan Boulevard when it ran into the back of a car near West Kentucky Avenue, police said.

A woman who was riding on the motorcycle was taken to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries, investigators said.

No one was injured in the vehicle.

Sheridan was closed between West Mississippi and West Ohio avenues as police conducted an investigation. The road reopened just after 3 a.m.
