FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A man was injured after being struck by a vehicle while walking in a crosswalk against a red pedestrian signal in Old Town Fort Collins on Tuesday night, Fort Collins Police Services said.
Police said the accident happened just after 9:30 p.m. at North College and West Mountain avenues.
A 1989 maroon Pontiac sedan driven by Mary Filson, 75 of Fort Collins, was traveling northbound on College when 30-year-old Benjamin Sheehan was walking in a crosswalk at the intersection.

Sheehan was taken to Medical Center of the Rockies with moderate injuries. Filson stayed on the scene and was not injured.
The intersection was closed for about two hours as police investigated. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending, police said.
